Loten Birding Center

The place serves as shelter and refreshment station, is important for migratory birds. The "Nature reserve" on Kibbutz Lotan is a paradise for birds and other animals. Guests are invited to watch the birds from up close, comfortable - hiding places and disguised paths offered by the reserve. In Lotan and its surroundings, 275 species of birds have been observed, and it is also a nice little reserve for mammals of the desert - although these are hard to watch during daylight hours. Lotan 's bird sanctuary has five "micro- habitats". Rare species visiting Lotan and immediate surroundings can be seen especially during migration.
