Yizhar's Hand-Made Paper Workshop

Yizhar's paper workshop is located in the Druze village of Jatt Haglilit (near Klil). The workshop teaches how to prepare the traditional Japanese-style paper. The raw material is produced from the bark of the "paper straw" tree, which is grown in an orchard in Moshav Amka (near Jatt). The workshop lasts about two hours, and at the end, each participant receives his work. The workshop is suitable for children aged 5 and up, for families and groups of up to 15 people. Cost per participant: NIS 45 (minimum 5 participants required).There is also a demonstration of the paper production process at the cost of NIS 20 - a minimum of 10 participants.
