Hannah and Eyal Israel, the founders of Carmey Avdat, have planted their vineyard on the ancient terraces that are part of the ruins of a 1,500 years old agricultural settlement.
The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes grown on the farm are harvested by hand, and attention is devoted to every detail during the winemaking process.
The wines of Carmey Avdat acquire a unique desert aroma.
