The Planetarium

At the Planetarium at the Eretz Israel Museum, you'll see an amazing presentation from revolving seats that reveals galaxies and stars both ancient and yet unborn, and discover what the world's most advanced telescopes see. Fun animation introduces you to astronomy and how stories about the stars were invented. You'll also see a presentation about Israel's first astronaut, Ilan Ramon, who died in the Colombia Space Shuttle disaster, and real time pictures of outer space, courtesy of NASA.
