The restaurant was opened by Elian Ashkar, a resident of the village of Rama.
El Galil is a vegetarian restaurant.
The place is small and intimate with nine tables in total, which can accommodate up to 20 people.
The menu features seasonal-Galilean dishes, handmade by Elian and include: stuffed vine leaves, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, makluba with lots of vegetables and rice with a typical Galilean seasoning, root vegetable soup, chicory salad, wild fennel salad and more.
